We hire movers on payroll, not by the day
Every mover at Simplex is an employee with a regular schedule, paid hourly with overtime, and trained by our crew chiefs before working on a customer’s move. We do not use day labour or subcontract jobs to other companies.
Positions we hire for
- Movers — full-time and seasonal, with peak season from May to August
- Drivers — class 3 licence for our trucks
- Crew chiefs — experienced movers who lead a crew and speak with customers
- Customer coordinators — bilingual, for estimates and scheduling
What the work is actually like
It is physical work, often on stairs, in all weather, and the end of June is intense. In return you work with the same people every day, learn to handle pianos, safes and crating, and have a clear path to crew chief.
