How our services are organized
Our services fall into six categories, and each one is priced differently for a reason. Residential and commercial moves differ in how they are scheduled and insured: an office moves after hours against a hard deadline, and building managers usually want a certificate of insurance before the crew may use the freight elevator. Local and long-distance moves differ in how they are priced: local moves are hourly, because the variable is time; long-distance moves are a fixed price, because volume and distance can be measured before loading.
Canada–USA moves add customs paperwork for the border; international moves add export packing and an ocean container. Packing and storage can be booked on their own or added to any move. Specialty items — pianos, safes, art, antiques, appliances — need their own equipment and are priced per item before the day, so the crew arrives with what each one needs.
One company, one crew
Whatever you book, the crew is ours. We do not pass jobs to subcontractors, and the people who pack are the people who load and unload. That is the main reason our estimates hold.
