About this estimate
It gets most local moves within about fifteen percent, because the two things it cannot see are how full your rooms actually are and how far the truck can park from the door. A written quote after a five-minute call is exact.
Local moves are billed hourly, so the total depends on hours actually worked. Showing a single number would be a guess presented as a promise. Long-distance moves are different — there the quote is one fixed number, agreed before loading.
It includes the crew, the truck, blankets, straps and floor protection. Boxes and packing materials are a separate line, and so are specialty items like a piano or a safe.
