If there is alot of slack, the bearings are bad. Another Tell-Tale sign is popping or grinding coming from the wheel hubs. Installation Pro Tip: The night before you will install the bearings, put them in the freezer. Also, coat the outside of the bearing and hub with a light coat of grease. The freezing will shrink the bearings slightly and the grease will make the install and pressing the bearings in much easier. We are glad to help any way we can.
